Black Lives Matter

Rev. Nibs Stroupe

Notes from Nibs

Oakhurst Presbyterian is a diverse congregation--diverse in race, age, sexual orientation, education, and economic status. Oakhurst has become a community that truly celebrates difference. Through God's gracious gifts of genuine dialogue, mutual understanding, and acceptance of one another, we go out into the world to proclaim a whole new reality centered in God's revelation to us in Jesus Christ.

Brady's Notes

During the season of Lent, we will have weekly meditations for our use in this time.

This meditation is written by Paula Couch.

"Blessed is the One Who comes in the name of the Lord!"

Holy Week is almost upon us!

Join us on Palm Sunday, March 29 as we journey with Jesus into Jerusalem for the drama of Holy Week. We'll gather on Maundy Thursday, April 2, to remember and celebrate the first communion at 7 PM. What in the world does "Maundy"mean? Come on April 2 and find out! On Good Friday, April 3, we'll join Hillside Presbyterian Church for a tenebrae (lights out) service at 7 PM as we remember the execution of Jesus. After we struggle through the Crucifixion, we'll gather on Easter Sunday, April 5, to celebrate the Resurrection - plan to be with us!!!!! ..
