Black Lives Matter

Rev. Nibs Stroupe

Notes from Nibs

Oakhurst Presbyterian is a diverse congregation--diverse in race, age, sexual orientation, education, and economic status. Oakhurst has become a community that truly celebrates difference. Through God's gracious gifts of genuine dialogue, mutual understanding, and acceptance of one another, we go out into the world to proclaim a whole new reality centered in God's revelation to us in Jesus Christ.

Rev. Brady Radford

Brady's Notes

"Jesus Christ is risen from the dead - he is risen indeed!"

That is one of the earliest (and shortest) creeds of the church. What does it mean to live in the power of the Resurrection? Come to worship in April and find out! Dr. Susan Hylen will be preaching on April 12 to tell us about some of the encounters that the risen Jesus had with his skeptical disciples. And, on Saturday, April 25, come and join us for our 19th Annual Gospelfest at 6 PM with some of the best gospel groups in the Metro area - it is a fundraiser for our youth ministry, so bring your friends, family, neighbors, colleagues, and even your enemies - maybe they won't be enemies anymore after they experience the Gospelfest! ..
